If there is one thing that the Domm-E-Nation project has so far taught me, it is that I am rubbish at keeping secrets. I'm the guy that buys that amazing Christmas present and then literally bursts from the effort of keeping it under wraps until Santa calls.
I guess my philosophy is that anything so exciting needs to be shared and as such the temptation is to scream about it from the nearest hilltop. Luckily for the Domm-E-Nation secret, there are no hilltops where I live and I am surrounded by an excellent team that help to keep me grounded.
It has only been a few short weeks since we announced our intended revolution and already we have nearly filled our first tranche of pre-registration slots and are marching toward 600 followers on Twitter. Our team of dedicated developers continue to build the community areas for the site interior. This is the part of the system you will see when at last you can login, something we expect to happen around the beginning of June.
Of course those who have taken the time to be amongst the first to pre-register have already grown to feel like family to us, with our marketing team only too happy to promote them as often as they can on Twitter.
But what is Domm-E-Nation and why should you be excited about its launch? For me, although there are many benefits that will come from being a member, perhaps the biggest of all is the motivation of the project. This is a well funded development that is being designed and delivered by members of the BDSM community. Domm-E-Nation is to be a community with a family feel that exist for the benefit of its members rather than for profit.
A safe environment with an innovative approach to those who "play" within its "walls" ensures that our coming system is completely unique. We will offer anything from authentication and endorsement through to introductions and promotion. The tools we offer to our members are new to the BDSM world and set us apart from the rest. We are dedicated to supporting those new to the scene while offering an exciting new approach to those with more experience.
In short, Domm-E-Nation can be as much or as little as each member wishes it to be. It can be the catalyst to making a fantasy far more real, a playground for those wishing to dabble and a marketplace for those of a more professional disposition.
BDSM is one of the largest like minded groups of individual adults anywhere on the planet! And yet its eclectic nature has lead to it being formed from numerous disparate groups that work in opposite directions.
But imagine if those groups could be united in quest of one common goal. If that were achieved, BDSM would cease to be the slightly hip, often whispered interest that can seem to cause so much amusement and become instead, a powerful united front capable of achieving anything!
We are not going to go away and nor will we bow to the weight of those heavyweights already established in the market. We are not another online directory and we have no interest in competing with banner farms. We simply want to unite people, protect them, support them and help them - because together we can make a difference!
